This is indeed the time to reflect back. In, 2013, we complete glorious Thirty years of dedicated and sincere service to the Tooling Industry with passion for perfection, as imbibed from the Defence Forces.


In the year 1983, with just under $1000 investment, Major Ghanshyam Pandey, a retired army officer, started an enterprise called Electrospark, with a single Electronic Discharge Machine ( EDM- Spark Erosion ), which enabled him to take his baby steps in the world of tooling. A dream was however, born to create a quality centric-modern House of Tooling.

Our experience in the field of dies began in 1985 with deep draw tool for manufacture of LPG cylinders. We had different parts designed and machined outside and only assembled them in our tiny work-shop . We have expanded our horizons since then to   plastic/ rubber molding, pressure die casting ,  dies for sheet metal components and last but not the least, ceramic tile moulds, which established and embelished us as pioneers in India.

In1989, the unit was converted into a private limited company, focused on producing tooling systems for the ceramic tile industry, which was then in a stage of infancy in India. Practically all molds and punches were being imported from Italy at high costs. We took the challenge in proper stride and today as we look back, we thank God, we did it

Today, Gee Pee  is not only a sophisticated, globally accepted quality-oriented manufacturer of tooling systems for production of tiles, from pavement to vitrified and from plain to seemingly intricate designer tiles, using state-of-the-art technology and modern CNC based-machinery, but also a multi technology and multi product outfit, capable of producing highly complex products for the Defense and Aerospace Sectors, as we increasingly work for ordnance factories, Bharat Electronics, Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd and TATA Advanced Systems. Our dies and moulds, jigs and fixtures and machined engineering components are envy of most of our competitors.

Recently, we have added intricate fabrication within our fold of activities, using laser cutting and CNC bending, to augment our skillful welding expertise and polyurethane surface treatment. We are already fabricating super structures for
Defence vehicles and sound proof cabinets for high resolution machines.

All this has been possible due to single minded devotion of a soldier, dedication of our well honed and competent team and a large array of state of the art machinery viz CNC Milling Centers, CNC VTL, Grinding Centers, Automatic welding equipment, Hydraulic Molding Presses and many other supporting conventional machines.

The Company utilizes core scientific expertise in mechanical engineering, polyurethane technology, hydraulics and magnetism to produce its products with precision and perfection.

TECHNICAL COLLABORATION

This is indeed the time to pay our tribute to Domenico Pellacani of International Stampi, Italy, whose technical collaboration helped us to achieve present heights despite many odds. We have always kept an open mind to emerging technologies.
To day we collaborate with FDS , where the team is lead by DEBIA IVANO, who is purported to have developed the revolutionary technology of Isostatic upper punches.
